King of the Hammers (KOH)

King of the Hammers is an off-road race that combines desert racing and rock crawling that was founded by Jeff Knoll and Dave Cole in 2007.

​

 Held in February on Means Dry Lake at Johnson Valley, California, United States.

​

The races includes a Can AM UTV event, the ULTRA4 vs. Rock Bouncer shootout, the Every Man Challenge Race, and the Toyo Desert Invitational (Unlimited Trophy Trucks)

For 15 days, the Means Dry Lake bed turns into a temporary settlement nicknamed Hammertown, complete with stages and a post office. In 2022 there were roughly 400 teams and 80,000 spectators in attendance for the event. In 2023, it grew even bigger with 946 race teams registered and over 85,000 attendees!
